Doctors and Farewell
The last 5 days in Germany are not the days I will remember as my greatest. Besides the normal medical control examinations I had some involuntary visits at the doctor and in hospitals. I had a really bad stomach ach and other unpleasant symptoms that I would like to spare you.

My final "medical" accounting is for the last 5 days:
vaccinations                                              1
visits of doctors                                        6
hospitals in one night                                 2
attemps for injection/ blood withdrawal     9
successfull injections                                 3

Frequently asked questions by the doctors:
1. Is it possible that you are pregnant?
2. Are there other women studying mechnical engineering?

The answers:
1. No.
2. Yes. Women percentage: 8%

The analysis finished with the exclusion of several illnesses, like appendix - whatever made me feel sick will hopefully not occur again. It might be that my seat neighbour in the plane will hate me - because I will be running to the toilette all flight long :P

The only thing I regret is that I could not say goodbye to all my friends and family members. Maybe we will find the time for skyping?

Alright, now I have to weigh my suitcase- wish me luck that it is not heavier than 20 kg!

Chiao!

Welcome to my blog!
At the 1st September I am going to fly to Tomsk which is located in the west part of Siberia. Among 85 000 students I should have a lot of fun and a lot of opportunities to get to know the russian way of life. I was told that the east part of Russia- Siberia- is not comparible with the west, european part of Russia. What ever will happen in Crazy Tomsk I will let you know.

Hopefully everybody will be able to understand my English that definitely can be improved :)

Feel free to say hello and to comment my blog!

Cheers!
Lydia
